Few rings carry 90 diamonds, and even fewer spend them on empty space. At the center of the Emerald Shaped Double Halo Ring sits a cluster of six baguette cut diamonds, each 2.5 x 1.25 mm, fitted side by side so they read as one emerald cut stone. Two rows of round diamonds circle them, one inside the other. The diamonds are graded E_F for color with VVS to VS clarity, so the cluster stays icy white against the polished gold behind it, even next to all that surrounding shine.

What keeps it from looking like a standard halo is the frame around it. Two pave rails run in straight lines from the cluster along the finger and on each side a curved arc of round diamonds swings out and back, leaving the middle of the ring open. From the side it looks like a lens or a cage and from above like a long, narrow oval. Nothing is filled in, so the ring sits lighter on the hand than the diamond count would suggest, and the gold shows only where it's needed.

Six baguettes weigh 0.144 ct and 84 rounds add another 0.616 ct, for 0.760 ct in total. They're lab grown diamonds, and that's what keeps the design manageable, since the same 90 stones in mined diamonds would put the price in another league.
